The challenge
We envision a world where the better choice is the easier one.

Every day, our world faces the strain of overconsumption. The products we choose, how we make them, and what happens to them after we’re finished with them significantly impact our environment and our society.

The opportunity
Through our collective impact, we aim to drive meaningful change by sharing resources and expertise, prioritizing resilient materials and repairability, and amplifying our efforts for the greater good.
We believe
in protecting the health of our planet for future generations.
in thoughtfulness and action. In responsibility, ethics, and transparency.
in quality over quantity. In long-loved objects over the all too easy to toss.
the world is neither an infinite resource nor an infinite landfill.
We are
SBTi aligned
What does that mean?

It means that we commit to reducing our carbon emissions by 2050.

But what is SBTi?

SBTi means Science Based Targets initiative.

It’s a collaboration among CDP, the United Nations Global Compact, World Resources Institute (WRI), and WWF.

SBTI helps companies set greenhouse gas emissions reduction targets aligned with climate science.

Is there anything customers can do to help?

You can support our efforts by making informed choices, embracing sustainable practices, and advocating for climate action with your local representatives.

Legal changes often make the biggest impact when it comes to collective change.

What are Nolk’s next steps?

Our next steps include implementing our emissions reduction strategies, monitoring progress, and continuously improving our sustainability practices.

We'll keep you updated on milestones and achievements as we work towards our SBTI-aligned goals.

We’re B Corp Certified

We are committed to making a positive impact; as such we opted to become a certified B-Corp.

This means we had to pass rigorous assessments on 165 different criteria, meeting some of the most stringent standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability.

Longevity
From the comforting embrace of a well-worn sweater to the timeless allure of a carefully curated home, we celebrate the beauty of long-loved objects.

At Nolk, we believe the longevity of our products and the longevity of our planet go hand-in-hand. That’s why we prioritize durable, beautifully designed products that empower people to make choices that help safeguard our world for generations to come.

We are constantly working on every step in our production process to leave the smallest possible footprint, and what we can’t reduce, we offset with local and international partners to ensure our efforts impact the communities affected most.

This is a journey, and not a destination, and we believe in learning through our wins and mistakes equally.

A note from our founder
Alexandre Renaud
“The vision of where we’re going with Nolk is helping the customer be more ethical in their purchase and offering a solution for that, and each time a brand comes into the group we are able to help them build and deliver on that promise."
